Cloud cost remediation

Cloud cost remediation is the act of fixing cloud waste, not just detecting it. Most tools flag oversized instances or idle resources and hand a backlog to engineers; remediation means the change is executed end to end. Glassity performs cloud cost remediation by shipping each fix as a reviewable pull request, letting engineers merge it, and then confirming the saving in the real AWS bill before it is counted. Detection without execution leaves the money on the table.

Cloud cost remediation is the execution half of cost optimization. Dashboards are good at finding waste — oversized compute, idle volumes, stale snapshots, untuned commitments — but findings only matter once something changes. Remediation closes that gap.

Glassity treats detection as the starting point, not the deliverable. Each opportunity becomes PR-based remediation: a pull request engineers review, understand, and merge on their own terms. Nothing changes without human approval, and nothing is claimed as a win until closed-loop billing verification confirms it in the actual invoice.

This execution focus is central to the agentic platform for cloud operations and to maximizing the business value of the cloud. Real-world remediation has reached up to 50% on EC2 and up to 69% on RDS. See Autopilot and Pull for how remediation reaches your repository.
