Seasoned data science lead with over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. I have a proven track record of success in leading and managing teams, developing and implementing data-driven solutions, and driving business results. 

In my previous roles, I have worked on a variety of challenging projects in different sectors, including Amazon Kindle, AI startups, and Energy companies in South America. 

At Amazon Kindle, I led a team of software engineers and architects in the development of mission-critical applications for managing risks associated with Kindle content worldwide. I also designed and delivered automated controls to detect and remove terrorist propaganda, plagiarized material, and other forms of inappropriate content. 

I have also developed systems to aid human rights groups to identify and prevent hate speech in social media and identify vulnerable people in potential human trafficking situations. With a Bachelor’s degree in both applied mathematics and industrial engineering, I bring a unique perspective to developing deep learning systems.
