Agentic FinOps

Agentic FinOps is the practice of running FinOps through AI agents that execute the work, not just dashboards that report it. Glassity applies agentic FinOps by continuously discovering cost and efficiency signals, shipping remediations as reviewable pull requests, and confirming savings in the real AWS bill. It extends classic FinOps collaboration between engineering, finance, and business by adding autonomous execution and per-account memory, so optimization compounds instead of resetting each cycle.

Agentic FinOps is FinOps where AI agents do the operational work. Classic FinOps brings engineering, finance, and business together to make data-driven cloud spending decisions; agentic FinOps keeps that discipline but replaces manual ticket-chasing with agents that discover, decide, and act.

In practice that means agents continuously scan an account, identify waste and misallocation, and then execute fixes through PR-based remediation that engineers review and merge. Savings are not assumed — they pass closed-loop billing verification before they count.

Glassity delivers agentic FinOps as part of the agentic platform for cloud operations. Because each account has a per-customer knowledge vault, decisions sharpen over time rather than starting cold. This is how teams advance along the FinOps maturity model without adding headcount — see Autopilot and FinOps Manager.
